Christina Hough, Consultant and Notary Public, has more than 23 years of professional experience working in law firms, in-house legal departments, and businesses large and small, serving in various professional roles, including executive and senior roles in corporate governance, contracts, litigation, and people management. She believes in the power of collaboration to create lasting, positive change through strategic planning and leadership sessions. Firmly rooted in a deep desire to help individuals, teams, and organizations make carefully, but artfully calculated plans to make their next big move. Through collaborative working sessions and mentorship programs that educate and inspire individuals and teams, and ultimately organizations, and proven methodologies that streamline processes, organize feedback, and increase organizational bottom line, Christina and her team take calculated measures to help individuals and teams develop a vision and take it to completion.
Christina enjoys mentoring business, paralegal, and law students and new and seasoned professionals, both locally and virtually. She regularly mentors individuals through collaborative one-on-one sessions, including resume and cover letter alignment, mock interviews, and general membership, helping them realize they have transferable skills that will aid them in their desired profession and building personal and professional confidence. Mentees gain invaluable insight into business and law professions and gain an upper hand over their peers.
As a serial entrepreneur, Christina has led successful businesses in a variety of industries, including businesses within the legal, professional writing, career consultancy, field service, and retail industries. Humanity is her core driver – a desire to connect and grow with and learn from her clients, colleagues, and community. Through public speaking and podcast engagements, she has educated thousands of individuals, from notaries and entrepreneurs to legal support professionals, lawyers, and judges on various topics, including neurodivergence in law, enhancing communication for neurodivergent clients, DEIB, personal and professional branding and development, including at in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, such as national conferences, member-focused association events, and other member- and community-centered association and group events.
She was recognized by San Diego Business Journal as one of 100 Women of Influence in Law in 2023 and 2025, National Notary Association as its 2023 Notary of the Year, and National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) – The Paralegal Association with an Affiliates Award in 2022, for her work in hosting, organizing, and presenting San Diego Paralegal Association’s (SDPA) inaugural Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Educational Conference.
Christina also serves as Vice President, Membership of SDPA, an ex officio member of Federal Bar Association Law Student Division Board, among other board roles. She is also a loving mother to two wonderful children.
